Paragonia was established in Kuala Lumpur in 2009 by a small group of solicitors who shared a particular concern: that clients in legal proceedings often felt like their case was one among many. Too many enquiries went unanswered for days. Too many documents were reviewed by junior staff without adequate supervision. Too many clients arrived at a signing without a proper understanding of what they were agreeing to.
The firm was built around a different approach. Each client engagement at Paragonia involves direct communication with a qualified solicitor, a clear explanation of the process, and realistic expectations about timelines and costs. We do not make commitments we cannot keep, and we do not recommend proceedings that are unlikely to be in a client's best interest.
Over fifteen years, Paragonia has worked across hundreds of property transactions throughout the Klang Valley, assisted families in planning and probating estates, and represented businesses in commercial disputes at multiple court levels. The firm is registered with the Malaysian Bar and holds a current practising certificate.
Our office on Jalan Tun Perak has been our base since the beginning — central, accessible, and close to the courts and land offices where much of our work takes place.

Dato' Azlan Ibrahim
Called to the Malaysian Bar in 1996, Dato' Azlan leads the firm's conveyancing and commercial litigation practice. He has over 28 years of experience handling property transactions and commercial disputes across Peninsular Malaysia.
Nurul Hasanah Yusof
Nurul specialises in estate planning, will drafting, and probate administration. She brings a considered and patient approach to matters involving families, and has assisted clients through probate proceedings at both the High Court and Sessions Court levels.
Kavin Krishnaswamy
